Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery highlights.
Nose
Dark maritime peat and iodine rise from a mineral, saline core, tempered by rich sherry sweetness. Smoky cocoa-dusted prunes and candied orange peel unfold with a lacquer of leather, while roasted coffee bean and vanilla mingle with oak spice. A whisper of sea-salt lingers, carrying a long, resinous finish.
Palate
Silky and layered with peat, resinous smoke, and coastal iodine, it opens the palate as sherry sweetness threads through dark fig, plum and cocoa. An oily mouthfeel coats the tongue, with mineral salt and toasted oak providing depth. The finish is long and warming, with ember, spice, and a final breath of sea air.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with whispering peat and sea-salt breeze. Sherry-softened dark fruit and cocoa rise, carried by oak and spice. A velvet warmth lingers, leaving a refined coastal echo that fades to a mineral, smoked-peat glow.
