Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glow and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent and fragrant, this Pittyvaich opens with ripe orchard fruit—apricot and plum—folded with rich sherry sweetness and velvety vanilla. Hints of almond, fig, and caramel mingle with gentle spice, while waxy oak lends a refined, lingering finish.
Palate
Opulent and warming on the palate, Pittyvaich delivers a sherry-soaked cascade of dark fig, sultana and prune, lacquered with cocoa and toasted almond. Candied orange, cinnamon and clove weave through a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel, while pristine oak lends a resinous grip. The finish is long and drying, with bitter chocolate, orange zest and a whisper of spice lingering.
Finish
An extended, velvet finish that lingers with refined warmth. Dark raisin and orange zest unfold into toffee, cocoa and warm spice oak, with a delicate sherry sweetness. The warmth persists, fading to a nutty, oak-driven echo and a soft whisper of smoke.
