Pittyvaich (silent) 2018 Special Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky 28 Year Old · 1989 Vintage
In stock
Blimey something a little special and unusual. Closed in 1993 this Speyside distillery produced very few official bottlings and independant versions are almost as scarce, so this 28 year old release is quite the surprise.
Very buttery and biscuity on the nose, lots of baked apple and pastry with a lighter more floral element. Flavour wise, there's sweet nutty tones like walnut, gingernut and almond along with candied orange. The finish is delicate and easy with more of that pastry note and a slight burnt sugar note too.
