Pittyvaich (silent) 2015 Special Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky 25 Year Old · 1989 Vintage
Out of stock
A rare official bottling released as part of the 2015 Diageo Annual releases alongside the likes of other closed distilleries Port Ellen and Brora and only existed as a distillery between 1975-1993, so just 18 short years of production for this lost Speyside.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany, a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
An elegant, fruit-forward aroma of ripe pear and orchard apple, nuanced by vanilla, toffee and polished oak. Subtle sherry lift brings dried fruit—raisin and fig—along with spice and a whisper of cocoa, lending a refined, time-worn perfume that lingers with quiet complexity.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate unfurls dark chocolate and fig with a generous dried-fruit sweetness from sherry cask maturation. Red cherry, orange zest and a spine of spice—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—rise over toasted oak. The warmth is refined, delivering a long finish of cocoa, leather and a whisper of tobacco.
Finish
Silky, long finish of dried fig and raisin over creamy toffee and dark chocolate. Rich sherry sweetness carries subtle spice—nutmeg and clove—accompanied by polished oak. A warm, mineral glow lingers, with a final whisper of tobacco and marzipan.
