I have to admit to having a soft spot for Cragganmore as it was the first Single malt that made me sit up and take notice of whisky over 26 years ago! when tasting this i was almost transported back to that happy memory with that combination of a more waxy and herbal Speyside style and this is a great example of this Classic Malt, whatever the age!

Nose
Mandarin orange, beeswax, herbal honey, buttery biscuit, yeast bread dough, aniseed.
Palate
Orange fondant, shortbread, herbal honey, ginger, white chocolate, vanilla bon bons, salted marzipan, peppery oak.
Finish
Tingling citrus, waxy orange, herbal honey, mint leaf, aromatic tea and chocolate.
