Part of Diageo’s annual Distillers Edition range, this Cragganmore expression is a double-matured Speyside single malt that builds on the distillery’s classic style. After its initial maturation in traditional oak casks, the whisky is finished in Port-seasoned casks, adding an extra layer of fruit richness and sweetness to the spirit. Bottled at 40% ABV, it offers a softer, more rounded take on Cragganmore’s elegant character.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with ruby-hued glints and a warm sunlit glow.
Nose
An elegant, mellow bouquet opens with sweet, winey fruit, deepening into a dense, enigmatic core, with a final wisp of smoke curling through the aroma.
Palate
Firm and lightly oily, it opens sweet and soft, with juicy wine- and fruit-forward notes. The sweetness is balanced by light wood-spice and a smoky undertone, yielding a polished, gently lingering palate.
Finish
Medium-length, tingling and dry, with appetising spice. Oakiness lingers, hinting at vanilla and finishing with a cocoa note.
