Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Sunlit oak releases vanilla and honey, with bright citrus zest and pear. A whisper of sherry brings dried fruit, almond and spice, while a peppery lift keeps the aroma lively and youthful. A vibrant, inviting nose that hints at the cask-driven depth to follow.
Palate
Powerful and warming, this single-cask whisky delivers a bold, cask-strength palate. Rich vanilla and toffee cloak a creamy texture, while intense oak and black pepper from the 61.6% ABV drive the profile. Subtle dried-fruit and citrus notes emerge alongside cinnamon and ginger, finishing long with oak-touched spice and toasted wood.
Finish
Long, warming and luxurious, the finish drapes warm oak over hints of dried fig and raisin. Subtle cocoa and spice unfold as orange zest and vanilla leave a bright, lingering sweetness. A creamy, resinous tail from the sherry-influenced cask lingers, slowly fading to a velvet warmth.
