Single Cask Distillery Bottling

Kingsbarns single cask whisky is celebrated for the nuances and variations that develop in both aroma and flavour thanks to the wonders of natural oak cask maturation. Always strictly limited due to the number of bottles that can be drawn from one cask, this is a whisky to be cherished and savoured. Natural colour and non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep, warm amber with coppery highlights and mahogany depth.

Nose

Thick grenadine, cinnamon spice and berry tart rise in a plush, inviting nose, with red-fruit brightness and a subtle sweetness that hints at sherry-cask maturation.

Palate

Juicy raspberries mingle with blackberry pie richness and a delicate mint lift, delivering a bright, fruit-forward palate with a crisp, refreshing edge.

Finish

An enduring finish of southern jam cake and caramel icing, unfolding slowly with a warm, toffee-kissed sweetness. Soft fruit and gentle spice linger, leaving a luxurious, lingering close.

(KINGS-barns) Kingsbarns Distillery officially opened on St Andrew’s Day in 2014 in the East Neuk of Fife, a few miles from St Andrews, after the Wemyss family expanded from independent bottling into distilling. The first cask was filled in March 2015, the distillery’s first whisky was released for Founders Club members in 2018, and Dream to Dram became the first general release in January 2019.
