The Distiller’s Edition undergoes a second maturation in Montilla Fino cask wood for delicate yet rich fruit notes such as dried figs with honey and a hint of brine. Perhaps it’s the Spanish cask influence, but this Oban makes the classic vanilla cheesecake seem even more indulgent.
This limited edition makes an ideal gift for lovers of Oban and Highland Single Malt Whiskies known for their rich flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden-amber with coppery undertones and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
An elegant bouquet of dried figs bathed in honey, enriched by vanilla and polished oak. A delicate brine threads through the aroma, lending coastal restraint to the sweetness, while almond and citrus peel lift the scent. The Montilla Fino cask influence deepens the fruit-forward profile with a refined, sherried edge.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied with a luxurious mouthfeel, this Oban coats the palate in ripe dried fig and honeyed sweetness, tempered by a whisper of brine. The Montilla Fino cask lends a delicate savory edge and vanilla-cream depth, giving a creamy, cheesecake-like richness that lingers with toasted oak and gentle spice.
Finish
An enduring finish that unfolds with dried figs and honey, tempered by a whisper of brine. The Montilla Fino cask influence imparts a creamier vanilla sweetness, reminiscent of a velvety vanilla cheesecake, as delicate oak and coastal salinity linger to a refined, persistent finale.
