Sunlit amber-gold with coppery highlights and a tropical honey glow, rich with mahogany undertones.
Nose
A mild, fresh nose rich in the distillery character. Fresh, faintly maritime top notes evoke sea breeze, seaweed, warm dunes, and a hint of iodine, layered with lemon citrus and subtle tropical sweet traces of sugar cane and mango from the Caribbean rum cask finish.
Palate
Silky, oil-rich mouthfeel coats the palate with fruity citrus sweetness—lemon and mango—alongside a lightly salty lift. True to Oban's distillery character, a measured, warming spice lingers without overpowering. A dash of water softens and sweetens, heightening the oil-smooth citrus and leaving a bright, lingering finish.
Finish
Short and bright, the finish delivers a brisk, spicy kick that cools the palate. A light, sweet aftertaste lingers, evolving with a touch of water into a deeper, more enduring sweetness and a whisper of citrus.
