Oban Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest licensed whisky distilleries, founded in 1794 by brothers John and Hugh Stevenson. Built on the shores of the Firth of Lorn before the surrounding town existed, the distillery became the heart of what would grow into the bustling west coast harbour of Oban. Today it remains one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, producing a distinctive Highland single malt shaped by both its coastal location and centuries of traditional craftsmanship.

Often described as the meeting point between the Highlands and the Islands, Oban's whisky combines rich Highland malt character with gentle maritime influence, subtle smoke, citrus, honey and sea salt. This balanced style has made Oban one of Scotland's most recognisable and respected single malt distilleries for more than two centuries.
