There's so little produced in the Oban core range that a new expression is worth looking out for.
Matured in refill European oak this shows the classic Oban balance of freshness (grassy and floral) richness (oaky and buttery) and just a hint of a coastal tang. The palate is fruitier with citrus and red fruitand there is also a nutty richness to it. The finish is lovely and lasting with a slight mandarine note on the end.

Colour
Golden amber with warm honey tones and a pale copper edge.
Nose
Fresh, grassy and floral, lifted by a coastal tang that threads through a creamy, oaky richness. Subtle citrus zest and faint almond-nut notes, with a whisper of buttered oak.
Palate
Fruit-forward on the palate, with citrus zest and red berries complemented by a nutty richness. Oban’s grassy, floral freshness lingers alongside oaky, buttery depth, carried by a subtle coastal tang throughout.
Finish
A lovely, lasting finish with a slight mandarine note at the end.
