Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with honey-gold highlights and coppery, mahogany-tinted edges—a warm, inviting glow in the glass.
Nose
Opulent, aged bouquet of polished oak and honeyed malt. Vanilla and toffee mingle with dried citrus, fig and date, while cocoa adds depth. A subtle, refined smoke lingers, elevating the aroma into a long, elegant, age-worthy complexity.
Palate
Silken and richly layered, this 21-year-old Pure Malt opens with vanilla and toffee, unfolding into ripe orchard fruits, fig and dried cherry. A subtle sherry veneer adds complexity, while robust oak delivers spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—with a final touch of cacao. The finish is long and refined, warm and velvety, with a lingering tobacco-like depth.
Finish
Elegant and enduring, the finish unfolds into dark chocolate and dried fig, braided with praline sweetness and a kiss of oak spice. A whisper of smoke threads through, leaving a long, warm malt core that lingers with citrus zest and refined, tobacco-inflected warmth.
