Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany depth and coppery-gold highlights, a warm, ruby-tinted glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes: dried fig, raisin and date folded with orange zest and toffee. Rich dark chocolate and espresso mingle with cinnamon and clove, while leather, walnut and old oak lend depth. A luxurious, syrupy sweetness sits beneath the bold spirit, promising a lush, velvety edge.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, this palate unfurls with fig, plum and sultana, punctuated by orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—linger over velvety oak and a touch of leather. Warm, viscous and confident at 55% ABV, it coats the mouth and lingers in a long, nutty, Christmas-pudding finish.
Finish
Finish is long and luxurious, with sherried sweetness carrying dark fruit, cocoa and espresso, while orange zest and vanilla spice thread through toasted oak, tapering to a warm, lingering glow.
