Opulent sherry warmth envelops dark fruit, prune, raisin, fig, with orange zest and treacle. Spices rise: clove and cinnamon, edged by cocoa, espresso, and polished oak, finishing with a delicate wisp of leather.

Palate

Silky and robust, this sherry-cask Mortlach coats the palate with dark fig, raisin and cocoa-dusted toffee. Orange zest, roasted almond and a whisper of tobacco mingle with spice—cinnamon, clove and nutmeg—beneath supple oak. A warm, generous mouthfeel leads to a long finish of chocolate and dried fruit, with a final hint of spice.

Finish

Opulent and long, the finish drapes the palate in sherried richness: dark plum and raisin mingle with orange zest and cocoa, while cinnamon and clove whisper through warm oak, leaving a velvety, persistent sweetness and refined warmth that lingers.
