Tasting Notes
Colour
Sherry-tinged mahogany amber with a deep, wine-dark core and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aroma of ripe figs, dates, and black cherries; treacle and dark brown sugar cloak toasted almond and cocoa. Subtle orange zest, cinnamon, and leather mingle with polished oak, adding depth and grace. A velvety, mature bouquet that promises rich, luxurious complexity.
Palate
Opulent, full-bodied palate with a velvety, slightly oily texture. Rich dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—layer with dark chocolate, cocoa nibs and burnt sugar. Subtle orange zest and toffee weave through clove and nutmeg, while hints of leather and tobacco deepen the profile. A long, warming finish carried by oak and sherry sweetness lingers, leaving cocoa, spice and aged-wood warmth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with pronounced sherry sweetness and a gentle warmth. Dried fig, plum and cocoa cloak the palate as spice—clove and orange zest—lingers with cocoa nibs and leather. The finish slowly fades to polished oak, leaving a velvety, resonant echo of richness.
