Ripe red apple threads through vibrant clementine and honeycomb, while sweet demerara sugar glides into crisp watermelon with a delicate whisper of grapefruit.

Palate

Lemon sherbet and poached pear lead to airy meringue, then bright key lime pie notes emerge, with a whisper of black pepper.

Finish

Medium-bodied and bright, the finish unfolds with citrus zest—lemon and lime—accented by a delicate, lingering spice that softly rounds the palate.

Mortlach
(mort-LOCK) Mortlach was founded in 1823 on the site of a former illicit distillery, becoming the first legal distillery in Dufftown long before the town was known as the whisky capital of Speyside. Its history is closely tied to George Cowie and later Dr Alexander Cowie, who helped shape the modern distillery, and by 1897 Mortlach had expanded from three stills to six and gained its own railway siding.
