This 2012 Mannochmore comes from single cask #2691 and was bottled in 2023 at 11 years old. Matured in a hogshead and bottled at a natural strength of 56% ABV, the cask yielded 280 bottles.
A hogshead is a good fit for Mannochmore, allowing the distillery’s lighter, fruit-led character to remain at the forefront while still adding enough oak and structure to support the spirit. At 11 years old, this should offer a nicely balanced style, with clean orchard fruit, malt sweetness and gentle spice all given room to show clearly.

Colour
Golden, sunlit honey with warm amber highlights.
Nose
Fresh orchard fruits with a zesty citrus lift; waxy, rich sweetness forms the base. With time, sun-warmed oak, resin and honey emerge, complemented by bright orange notes.
Palate
Very sweet and full-bodied, bordering on decadent. Juicy orchard fruits flood the palate, bathed in succulent floral honey. A plush, nectar-like sweetness coats the tongue, with hints of spice and a subtle oak underpinning that warms and lingers.
Finish
Medium-long finish of juicy, zesty oranges, mingling with rich honey and gentle spices, finishing with a delicate kiss of oak.
