Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes rise from the glass: dried plum, fig and raisin mingle with orange zest and toffee. Warming oak, toasted almond and hazelnut lend structure, while cocoa and dark chocolate drift through. Spices—cinnamon and clove—give a festive bite, with a touch of leather and tobacco in the background. Rich, inviting and quietly powerful.
Palate
Powerful and velvety on the palate, Mannochmore Mossburn Batch #16 delivers sherried richness: dark fig and plum fruit, dried cherry, and orange zest folded into molten toffee. Cinnamon and clove lift the spice, while roasted almond and oak add depth. A full, creamy mouthfeel with warming depth and a cocoa-edged aftertaste.
Finish
Long, sherried finish of dark dried fruits, cocoa and spice, with a warm oak undertone that lingers into a velvet glow.
