Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with warm honey highlights.
Nose
Fresh vanilla bean and toasted oak rise alongside bright citrus and orchard fruit—peach, pear and a touch of apple—over a creamy malt backbone. Subtle coconut and almond drift in, while peppery clove and cinnamon add warm spice. A maritime hint threads through, meeting bourbon sweetness that hints at caramel and honey, inviting the first encounter to linger.
Palate
Opens with creamy vanilla and sun-kissed tropical fruit, moving into juicy pear and tart apple. Rich with custard, toffee, and coconut from ex-Bourbon hogsheads, buoyed by a peppery spine and subtle oak. Full-bodied and velvety, it coats the palate with warming spice and a long, fragrant vanilla finish.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with vanilla sweetness and coconut from the ex-Bourbon hogsheads, suave toasted oak, and a bright citrus tang. A gentle peppery warmth lingers, slowly fading into a velvety spice that coats the palate.
