Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery highlights, a warm, radiant glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke dominates, wrapped in rich sherry fruit—raisins, fig and dark cocoa with a touch of toffee. Nutty almond, leather and spice rise, while orange zest adds brightness. A coastal maritime edge lingers behind the wine-dark richness, delivering Campbeltown swagger with Islay-level smoke at full strength.
Palate
Full-bodied and oily, this delivers a bold peat smoke wrapped in rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig, raisin and dark cherry fuse with toasted almond, cocoa and toffee, lightly vanillaed. The mouthfeel remains creamy and robust, edged by peppery spice, finishing long and warming with lingering smoky, maritime warmth.
Finish
Long, warming finish with peat smoke lingering under a cloak of sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin rise to cocoa, leather and spice, while orange zest threads through toasted oak, fading to a refined, enduring warmth.
