Another old bottling of 10 year Longrow from Springbank in Campbeltown. Something of a collectors item, as the only age stated Longrow released at present are the limited release bottlings and the yearly batch of the 18 year old.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a sun-kissed, honey-gold glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and maritime brine rise first, medicinal and iodine-laced, with a touch of ash. Sherry-cask richness threads through the aroma, revealing prune and fig, dark chocolate, and a hint of toffee, while leather and spice lend a polished, lingering finish.
Palate
Powerfully peated with coastal smoke and a resinous, oily mouthfeel. Sherry influence emerges as fig and raisin sweetness, tempered by dark chocolate, toasted almond and spice. Rich yet balanced, it coats the palate before a long, ember-driven finish—peat, salt, and a final hint of oak.
Finish
Long, peated finish with smoky maritime notes that gradually give way to sherry-casked depth. Dark fig and prune, cocoa and toasted spice linger, weaving a warm, lingering sweetness that keeps the peat kiss alive.
