Linkwood Spirit of Art Including Signed Print - Single Cask #310724 Whisky 10 Year Old · 2009 Vintage

Artist Nichol Wheatley: Linkwood always reminds me of Speyside. I think about the bend of the river between Aberlour and Craigellachie. It’s amazing how a whisky can take you to a place. It’s like magic teleportation!
Whisky Curator George Thomson: Linkwood’s textured delicacy makes it a favourite of master blenders and, when available, much sought-out by lovers of single malts.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with warm copper highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Fresh-cut grass and meadow herbs open the aroma, crisp and vibrant, with a gentle lift of green apple and pear. Light herbal notes linger, delivering a sun-warmed sweetness that hints at Speyside orchards and barley.
Palate
Silky mouthfeel with generous honey sweetness, lifted by a spicy grassy kick that brightens the mid-palate and coats the tongue with a warm, lingering herbal glow.
Finish
Long, dry fruitiness lingers, leaving orchard-fruit sweetness lightly tempered by spice for a refined, lasting finish.
