Distilled in june 1997 and aged in Ex-American oak before its additional finishing.
Yielded only 345 bottles without chill filtering and natural colour.
A big and bold Speyside with lots of grapey and black forest fruit intensity.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a warm copper glow and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Opulent nose of blackcurrant cordial and mixed berry jam, punctuated by black grape jelly and a chutney or reduced balsamic note. Aromatic, winey oak and malty brown bread provide a polished, savoury backbone, hinting at the whisky's bold, fruit-forward character.
Palate
Blueberry and black grape ride a firm, malty brown-bread backbone, kissed by dark honey. The mouthfeel is jammy and cordial, with a cool menthol lift and bramble jelly echoes.
Finish
Red and black fruits flood the finish, giving way to a malty core; a chutney-like dryness lingers, with brambly, savoury whispers that persist.
