Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural colour—sun-warmed amber with honey-gold sheen and a faint copper glow.
Nose
Orchard fruits, pear and apple, shine, laced with honeyed vanilla and toffee. Nutty almond and walnut notes mingle with a poised oak spice, while hints of cinnamon and clove linger. Elegant, warm, and deeply layered, reflecting three decades of patient maturation in a single cask.
Palate
Vivid, full-bodied palate with a velvety, slightly oily texture at 46.8% ABV. Layered notes of ripe orchard fruit, honey and vanilla mingle with rich almond and dried apricot from the oak. Spices—cinnamon and clove—rise mid-palate, balanced by a waxy, resinous oak and a subtle coffee undertone. Long, warming finish with gentle sweetness and a final note of nutmeg.
Finish
Long, elegant finish of warm spice and refined oak. Dried fruit, vanilla and cocoa linger, with a citrus thread weaving through before a nutty, oak-driven fade that remains bright and balanced.
