Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sunlit amber with coppery edges and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma envelops the glass, revealing dark-fruit depth—plum, raisin and fig—woven with toasted almond, cocoa nibs and warm spice. A lift of orange zest and vanilla lingers, while polished oak frames a refined, velvety sweetness that hints at the 25 years of cask maturation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied arrival with a warm sherry glow. Dried figs and plum fuse with orange zest, layered over dark chocolate and toasted almond. Spices of cinnamon and nutmeg weave through polished oak, giving a velvety mouthfeel, subtle sweetness, and a long, refined, slightly savory finish.
Finish
Long, sherried finish with dark dried fruit, fig and orange zest, hints of cocoa and almond. Warm spice and polished oak unfold, leaving a velvety, lingering glow that sits warmly on the palate.
