This 18 year old expression from Linkwood in the Speyside region has been finished in a port cask.
A light nose with citrus, marmalade, a hint of fudge, acacia honey with hints of beeswax in the mouth. Expect notes of vanilla fudge, barley sugars and muscovado with a peppery and fragrant wood finish.

(LINK-wood) Linkwood was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown on the Linkwood Estate near Elgin, with production beginning in 1825. His son William Brown rebuilt the distillery in 1874, and the Brown family remained involved until the Linkwood-Glenlivet Distillery Company was formed at the end of the 19th century. Scottish Malt Distillers took control in the early 1930s, bringing Linkwood into what later became Diageo.
