A single cask Laphroaig bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland range, this 11 year old was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 from cask number 214 at a natural cask strength of 64.2% ABV. Limited to 315 bottles.
Maturation in oak allows Laphroaig’s unmistakable Islay character to take centre stage, with bold peat smoke, maritime salinity and medicinal notes balanced by underlying sweetness and spice from the cask. Bottled at high strength, it delivers an intense and concentrated expression of the distillery’s distinctive style.

Palate
Waves of peat smoke and medicinal iodine wash over the palate, braided with maritime salt. Oak sweetness emerges as vanilla and spice bloom, steadying the intensity of this cask-strength bottling. The finish is long, salty and smoky, with peppery warmth lingering.

Long, maritime finish dominated by peat and medicinal iodine, with saline sweetness and peppery oak spice. Coastal smoke lingers, slowly fading to a warm, ash-tinged ember.
