Colour

Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany glow.

Nose

Layered peat and soot with five-spice warmth and boggy, earthy iodine. Chili flakes on seaweed mingle with caramelised onions and fried curry powder, building toward an almost meaty, tarry, hemp-like depth.

Palate

Malty, sweet peat with briney honey, chilli flake heat, white pepper on seaweed, more iodine, smoked ribs on a coastal bbq, five spice, smoked toffee and sooty aniseed.

Finish

Salty iodine with chili flake and vanilla, earthy yet sweet, a touch of fish oils, black liquorice and a lingering peat smoke.
