Nose

Bold peat smoke rises with medicinal iodine and a coastal brine, defined by Laphroaig's signature swagger. From the sherry cask, dark fig and raisin braid with cocoa, leather and cigar-box spice. A shimmer of dried orange zest lifts the sweetness, while oak and warm spices weave through to a velvety, richly aged finish.

Palate

Oil-slick peat and medicinal iodine blaze across the tongue, balanced by a sherry-dark sweetness of dried fig, prune and treacle. Rich cocoa and toasted almond lend weight, while briny sea-salt and black pepper thread through the mid-palate to a long, smoky finish. At 55.8%, it's velvety and warming, opulent yet poised, with an enduring maritime peat glow.

Finish

Long, ember-smoked finish of peat and medicinal iodine, layered with sherry-tinged fruit—fig, raisin, cocoa. Sea-salt caramel and spice thread through the palate, while warming oak leaves a drying, briny warmth that lingers with a final mineral echo.
