Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge, gleaming with a sherry-burnished hue.
Nose
A regal veil of peat smoke and sea air rises on the nose, with medicinal iodine and coastal brine mingling with sherry-cask sweetness—prune, fig and cocoa, edged by dark toffee and spice, all wrapped in polished oak.
Palate
Bold, oily and luxurious, it reveals peat, sea-brine and iodine against a sherried backbone. Dried fig and dark chocolate weave with espresso and leather, while rich oak and spice add depth. The finish is elegant yet unyielding—long, warm, and hauntingly smoky.
Finish
Long, smoky finish of sea-salted peat, gently threaded with iodine. Dark cocoa and dried fig unfold along toasted sherry oak, leaving a warm, resinous spice that lingers, inviting another sip.
