Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a rich mahogany glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray mingle with iodine, rising through sherry-soaked fruit—fig, prune, raisin—alongside dark chocolate and espresso. A delicate vanilla, toffee sweetness and oak warmth weave a refined, multi-layered aroma that promises depth and elegance.
Palate
Full-bodied, with a luxuriant texture that coats the mouth. Peat smoke and coastal brine lay a foundation for rich sherried sweetness—fig, raisin and dark chocolate mingle with caramel and toasted nuts. The whisky carries a subtle iodine lift, lacquered oak and spice, then sails into a long, warming finish where fruit and smoke fade together in velvet grace.
Finish
An enduring finish of peat-smoke and sea salt, brightened by sherry-soaked fruit and dark chocolate. Coastal iodine lingers with a whisper of spice, tapering to a velvety, dried-fruit sweetness that fades to a refined, lingering ash.
