Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Lemon and lime dipped in salty icing sugar, pine needles on a sea breeze, volcanic smoke, white pepper, candy floss over peat bonfire smoke, seaweed.
Palate
Cool menthol tinged green fruit (sooty apple & smoked pear) oily, herbal mouthfeel, peppery seaweed and vanilla tinged peat smoke.
Finish
So clean and creamy for its ABV, it unfolds with lime and elderflower, green peppers and fruit, fresh garden herbs and zingy citrus, all wrapped in Lagavulin's tar-smoked character with a hint of vanilla, delivering a long, lingering finish.
