Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Soft and delicate on the nose, a malty, cereal core blooms into sweet apricot. Hints of lemon meringue pie and orange peel mingle, and a soft citrus character gradually unfurls.
Palate
Powerful on the palate after the delicate nose, this malt is sweet and sticky with a waxy mouthfeel and a hint of aniseed. Lemon, pear drops and honey mingle with rich milk chocolate and liquorice.
Finish
A whisper of peat smoke rounds out the finish, carried by persistent malty cereal notes.
