Knockdhu distillery malts are released under AnCnoc brand. This is the first time Chapter 7 are releasing a Knockdhu single cask edition. Peat is prominent in the first 10-12 years of a malt's life. It evolves into a rustic notes as it ages older and retires to the background. This cask is a great example of peat evolved.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and a warm tawny, mahogany edge.
Nose
Mineral and ashy aromas form a core, with roasted almonds and coffee beans lending depth, finished by a delicate hint of caramel.
Palate
Dark roasted Arabica, earthy with orange marmalade, and smoky resins weaving through the palate.
Finish
Black tea lingers with lemon brightness, roasted undertones deepen the finish, while caramelised cane sugar threads sweetness through a bright citrus close.
