Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant burnished gold with honey-amber depth and coppery edges catching the light.
Nose
Elegant and restrained, the nose unfurls with polished oak, vanilla sweetness, and malted grain. Orchard fruit—ripe pear and baked apple—softly rises with a citrus lift of orange zest. Hints of dried fig and cocoa deepen the aroma, while a whisper of spice and leather adds quiet complexity. A refined, vintage-tinged perfume that hints at serene, cask-worthy maturation.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, with orchard fruit and citrus zest riding over a creamy vanilla-honey core. Subtle spice—clove and nutmeg—and polished oak unfold gracefully, with a touch of almond. At natural strength, the mouthfeel is lush and oil-rich, delivering a long, warm finish of fruit, spice and oak.
Finish
Graceful and long, the finish carries honeyed orchard fruit and vanilla into toasted oak. A delicate thread of white pepper and nutmeg lingers, with a creamy, silky echo fading to refined oak and almond sweetness.
