A Knockdhu single malt from the Infrequent Flyers series, this 8 year old was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021 from a first fill ex-bourbon cask as a high-strength single cask release. Bottled at 58.9% ABV, the edition was limited to 210 bottles.
First fill ex-bourbon maturation brings forward vanilla sweetness, honeyed cereal and soft spice, adding depth and structure to Knockdhu’s smooth Highland character while letting the distillery’s naturally light, floral and malt-driven profile remain prominent.
