The latest edition of the 100% Islay by Kilchoman. The name comes from the fact that 100% of the barley they use to produce this comes from Islay. It is matured in a mixture of first fill Bourbon barrels and refil Bourbon barrels.This has great complexity for a young malt and an almost creamy mouthfeel, very fresh and inviting with mossy coastal notes and touches of white pepper and salted lime. A refreshing Islay malt.
