Crafted using the same cask recipe as our standard Sanaig release, Sanaig Cask Strength has primarily been aged in oloroso sherry casks.
Unlike Kilchoman's regular process, this limited edition has been bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.8% ABV. The outcome is a bold fusion of deep peat smoke, sweet cinnamon, and stone fruits, accompanied by notes of citrus, mixed spices, and dark chocolate.

Deep burnished amber with rich mahogany undertones and coppery highlights.

Peat smoke coils around rich oloroso sherry, releasing ripe stone fruits and citrus zest. Cinnamon and mixed spices mingle with dark chocolate, crafting a bold, warming aroma that hints at the sea-kissed Islay character.
Palate
On the palate, Islay peat smoke strikes at cask-strength intensity, harmonized with sweet cinnamon and ripe stone fruits. Zesty citrus and mixed spices lift the richness, yielding dark chocolate notes and a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish of peat smoke intertwined with rich oloroso sweetness, carried by cinnamon and citrus zest, with hints of dried stone fruits and dark chocolate that linger in a cocoa-dusted, spice-kissed fade.
