Taken from a batch of 17 casks that previously contained Madeira wine this limited edition Kilkhoman of just 6,100 bottles has influences of nut and dark chocolate within the peat malt. The colour of a Provence Rose wine with red berries and smoked oatcakes on the nose, salted cranberry, peaty fruitcake and red apple on the rich palate and a long finish for such a youngster with some lovely madeira cask notes and bottled at an impressibve 50% ABV. Another cracking limited release from this tiny farm distillery, ythe only independent on Islay.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale Provence rosé pink with a soft coral blush.
Nose
Rose-hued on the nose, red berries mingle with smoked oatcakes, while subtle nutty and dark chocolate notes cling to the peat malt, with Madeira-cask sweetness lending a warm, fruity undertone.
Palate
Bright peat carries Madeira’s sweetness, with salted cranberry and red apple meeting red berries on the palate. Peaty fruitcake layers through alongside nutty dark chocolate notes, while the Madeira cask adds depth. Rich, mouth-coating texture at 50% ABV, finishing long with smoky warmth.
Finish
Long Madeira‑kissed finish with nutty, dark‑chocolate notes and peat smoke. Red berries and red apple linger, with a subtle cranberry note echoing through a peaty fruitcake warmth.
