Part of Kilchoman’s 20th Anniversary Cask Series, this 18-year-old was drawn from ex-bourbon barrels laid down in 2006 and bottled at 46% ABV to mark two decades of the farm-to-bottle Islay distillery.
It’s the oldest expression Kilchoman has released to date and was personally selected by founder Anthony Wills, showcasing rich vanilla, butterscotch and caramel sweetness balanced with gentle maritime peat and toasted oak from long bourbon cask maturation.

Nose
Aromas are full-bodied and cask-driven, opening with rich vanilla, butterscotch and caramel that waft from long bourbon-cask maturation. Toasted oak adds depth, while a subtle maritime peat lift keeps the sea-air brightness in check.
Palate
Robust and indulgent, with caramel and toffee-fruit sweetness, balanced by a gentle peat smoke and a subtle maritime saltiness in the background.
Finish
Long, plush and warming, the toffee and butterscotch notes linger gracefully, while a whisper of maritime smoke threads through, rounding the sweetness with a subtle saline kiss.
