A limited release of 12,000 bottles of unpeated Springbank under the Hazelburn label which is triple distilled like a Lowland Malt.
Aged in first and refill Oloroso Sherry casks only and non chill filtered and natural colour.
The most enjoyable and complete Hazelburn release yet that i have tried, very distinctive and more like a non peated Island or Islay Sherry cask malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with warm copper-gold highlights and a rich mahogany undertone.
Nose
A decadent, coffee-cream aroma weaves with dark chocolate and prunes, softened by malty honeycomb. Smoked hob knobs and coal smoke add a savory, coastal edge, while earthy forest floor notes mingle with ripe black plums and raisins, building depth and warmth for a bold, multi-layered nose that hints at richness and refinement.
Palate
Game meat with rosemary and redcurrant jelly opens to stewed black fruits, peppery oak and reduced balsamic. Raspberry and salted caramel ripple through, while coal-tar sootiness and earthy notes carry a coastal bite on a long, richly textured finish.
Finish
Brandysnaps, gingercake and coffee fondant mingle with salty mocha, game meat and peppery salami, all framed by earthy sherry wood that lingers on a long, rich finish.
