Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with a burnished mahogany hue and a warm honey-gold halo.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aromas swirl with dried figs, raisins, and orange zest, glazed by polished oak. Rich dark chocolate, espresso and toffee rise, escorted by vanilla and gentle spice. Leather and tobacco add depth and warmth, finishing in a long, refined sweetness.
Palate
Sherried and full-bodied, this Glenlochy unlocks a rich tapestry of fig and prune, orange zest and dark cocoa, all wrapped in a velvety, oily mouthfeel. Rich toffee and baking spices—cinnamon, clove, ginger—linger as a long, warming finish with mocha and toasted almond notes.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with lingering sherry sweetness that coats the palate in dried fruit and dark chocolate. Spiced orange peel and roasted oak threads weave through the warmth, slowly fading into a velvety, satisfying glow.
