Armed with the knowledge that their complex and robust GlenAllachie spirit stands up well to aging in rich Sherry casks, Billy specially selected this PX Hogshead (2006 #6607). This Spanish oak cask has bestowed decadent notes of molten chocolate pudding, sticky raisins and sweet spices alongside a deliciously deep mahogany hue. The resulting liquid delivers a malt abundant with Sherry- matured sophistication.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany with a warm ruby-copper glow and a glossy amber edge, a sherry-warmed hue that exudes luxury and depth.
Nose
Bursting with almonds, treacle and brittle toffee, with notes of raisins, dark fruits, chocolate and baking spices.
Palate
Opulent on the palate, with lashings of dark chocolate and toffee sauce tempered by demerara sugar. Mocha, honey and treacle unfold, then a warming note of cinnamon and a delicate whisper of coconut linger on the finish.
Finish
Cinnamon lingers with a touch of coconut shavings, as mocha, honey and treacle drift through a long, chocolate-kissed finish.
