With a quick distillation, Dailuaine creates a versatile Single Malt that matures well in a wide variety of casks. This spirit has been selected for a rare finish in French oak barriques, previously filled with Sauternes, a sweet dessert wine from Bordeaux. Drawing influence from the seductively fruity and floral dessert wine cask for fourteen months, the bountiful spirit of Dailuaine continues to shine bright.
A beautifully floral nose, with honey, buttery malt and yoghurt. There is a burst of tropical fruits on the palate followed by oily malt and fresh citrus. A honied sweetness lingers on the finish, with lemon and oak spice.
