Dailuaine is a hard working distillery that produces malt for Diageo blends. It's only exposed by Flora & Fauna series and thanks to independent bottlers' releases. Only 2% of its output is marketed as single malts. Dailuaine produces a fat and meaty malt thanks to long fermentation, fast distillation and the use of stainless steel condensers. The distillery uses ex-bourbon casks to age its spirit.

Colour
Bright golden honey with a sun-warmed amber glow.
Nose
Vanilla, earth and fresh barley rise from the glass, with green banana and a hint of pancake batter lending a gentle sweetness. A soft, grainy core suggests sun-warmed malt that invites the senses to linger.
Palate
On the palate, creamy custard leads with bright lime and a peppery kick. Lager-like malty freshness threads through melon jam and apple liqueur, delivering a gentle fruit sweetness that lingers into a crisp, balanced finish.
Finish
Long, focused finish: bright green oranges mingle with sawdust, evolving into black tea and a trace of burnt caramel that lingers with a warm, earthy sweetness.
