Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with rich mahogany hues and a coppery glow.
Nose
A lush, sherry-cask aroma envelops the glass: dried figs and raisins, prunes, and orange zest mingle with toffee and dark chocolate. Spices bloom—cinnamon and clove—alongside toasted almond. Rich oak, leather and a whisper of tobacco drift through a velvety, cask-strength depth.
Palate
Velvety, full-bodied and richly sherried, the palate unfolds with dried fig, raisin and orange zest, layered over cocoa, toffee and toasted almond. Spiced oak provides structure, while a gentle warmth broadens into the finish. Long, luxurious, with dark chocolate echoes and a final kiss of baking spice that lingers gracefully.
Finish
Luxuriously long, the finish carries sherry depth with a warm, velvet coat. Dried fig, prune and orange zest unfold into cocoa and cinnamon, then slowly fade to polished leather and almond. The warmth lingers, a refined, spice-kissed echo that begs another sip.
