These are smnall batch and even tell you how much Angel's Share the whiskies have lost. This is an 11 Year Old Caol Ila full of citrusy, ashy and tarry aromas. The palate shows a littte sweetness from the wood, along with herbs, salt, brine and smoke. A tasty and representative Islay bottling.

Nose
Citrus zest leads the aroma, followed by ashy, tarry notes with a maritime salt and brine undertone and a subtle whisper of oak sweetness from the cask.
Palate
Light sweetness from the wood coats the palate, giving way to coastal herbs, salt and brine. Maritime notes mingle with chalky ash and peaty smoke, while citrus hints lift the mid-palate, finishing with a clean, lingering sea-salt warmth.
Finish
Long, ashy finish lingers with maritime brine and citrus zest, woven with smoke and tar. A dry mineral warmth persists, lightly sweetened by oak, with herbal echoes and sea-salty nuance fading into a refined, lasting finish.
