A small batch bottling from Caol Ila, the largest distillery on Islay. The whisky has been matured in Oloroso sherry caks and it has not had added colouring, nor has it been chill-filtered.

Colour
Rich, dark amber with copper-bronze highlights and a warm mahogany sheen.
Nose
Coastal peat and sea spray rise with opulent Oloroso sherry notes: dried orange, raisin, and fig, layered with dark chocolate, toasted almond, and a whisper of spice. Refined smoke, iodine, and sea salt linger on a velvety, unfiltered richness.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this Caol Ila coats the palate with maritime peat, smoke and iodine, underpinned by lush Oloroso sweetness. Dark fruit—raisin, fig, date—meets cocoa, toffee and toasted almond, with subtle spice. An oily, mouth-coating texture carries a warming finish at 48.2%, long, salty and refined, ending in a smoke-kissed echo.
Finish
Long, warming finish of coastal smoke and sea salt fading into rich Oloroso depth—dried figs and dark chocolate mingle with toasted almond, while a quiet peat glow lingers, finished with a subtle spice and a touch of oak.
