Palate

Powerful and creamy on the palate, Caol Ila combines campfire peat with briny sea air, lifted by Oloroso sherry. Dried fruit sweetness—figs and raisins—mingle with toasted almond, dark chocolate, and warming spice. At 57.1% ABV it coats the tongue with a resinous, smoky finish that lingers with saline, mineral notes.

Finish

Long, warming finish with coastal peat lingering on the palate, lifted by Oloroso richness of fig, raisin and almond. Cocoa nibs and gentle spice weave through polished oak, while a saline maritime echo remains, ending in a velvety warmth that lingers.
